JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) laid the first stone or groundbreaking for the construction of the Mayapada Hospital or Mayapada Hospital in the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara.
In his remarks, President Jokowi said the hospital owned by conglomerate Dato Sri Tahir would carry the concept of a green hospital to accelerate the development of IKN.
"Alhamdulillah, we are again conducting groundbreaking for the construction of hospitals. This is the second hospital to be built at IKN Nusantara, namely the virtual hospital. Previously, Mayapada Group Founder Dato Sri Tahir said Mayapada would be one of the first hospitals to be built and operate in IKN, and would be the best hospital in Kalimantan.
Tahir said the groundbreaking or groundbreaking of Mayapada Hospital at IKN is targeted to take place on November 1, 2023 and it is hoped that the construction can be completed in April 2024.
