The Presence Of Transjakarta Increases Mobility Towards Halim Station

JAKARTA - Limited Liability Company (PT) China's Indonesia Fast Train (KCIC) said the presence of Transjakarta Buses could increase mobility to Halim Station, East Jakarta.

Previously, Transjakarta began serving prospective passengers on the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) to Halim Station.

"The access for prospective fast train passengers to Halim Station in Jakarta is getting easier. This is after a trial of the new Transjakarta route to Halim Station with the Cawang-Jalan route Major General Sutoyo-Jalan DI Panjaitan-Halim Station with operating hours ranging from 06.00 to 16.00 WIB," said Eva.

Apart from Transjakarta, Halim Station is also currently connected to Jabodebek LRT Station. Not only that, Halim Station can also be accessed through Jalan DI Panjaitan as the main access and exit for the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 1 + 850 toll road.

"All of these strategic access will connect the Quickfeeding Train with the public area," he said.

He said that intermodal connectivity is proven to increase passenger comfort and can increase mobility.

Therefore, he continued, the presence of Transjakarta at Halim Station is important in an effort to provide the best service for fast train passengers.

Meanwhile, the trial of the new Transjakarta route to Halim Station was based on the Decree of the Head of the Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service Number 1033 of 2023 concerning Assignment to Limited Transportation Airport Jakarta in the Trial of the New Route 7W (Cawang-KCJB Halim Station) as a feeder service for the Jabodebek LRT dated September 26, 2023.

KCIC believes that the integration of Halim Station with Transjakarta is able to encourage the rise of fast train passengers and has an impact on business development in the Halim Station area.

KCIC stated that Fast Halim Train Station itself is the largest fast train station.

With an area of 78,315 square meters, Halim Station comes with a variety of complete facilities up to 52 tenants that will serve the community and prospective passengers.

"Integration between these modes has a very extraordinary impact. Not only does it make it easier for the community, but with good mode of integration, there will be business development in the station area, there will be a rise of passengers to the growth of public transportation culture," said Eva.
