JAKARTA - Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto, said that the Ministerial Tax House (RTJM) in the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago, East Kalimantan, will be built in line with the concept of a forest city or forest city.

Iwan explained, as many as 36 ministerial houses will be built by the Directorate General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR at the location of the IKN Central Government Core Area (KIPP), precisely in the Persil 104 area as many as 24 units and Persil 105 as many as 12 units complete with infrastructure, facilities and utilities. The development process began on December 7, 2022 and is expected to be completed in June 2024.

RTJM, said Iwan, uses two house typology, namely the upslope type used in the condition of the elevation of the back area of the house higher than the road and the downslope type used in the environmental condition of the back area of the house lower than the road.

"Currently there are 32 housing units whose construction is under construction and the remaining 4 units will soon be built. There are two types of ministerial housing, namely 11 units of downslope and 25 units of upslope and we hope that all construction processes can be completed on time," he said.

Iwan stated that the PUPR Ministry asked the contractor PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Operational cooperation (KSO) with PT Cirajasa Engineering Consultant (CEC) to accelerate the construction of the Ministerial Position Tax House.

Meanwhile, the Construction Management Package for the Construction of the Ministerial Tax House at KIPP IKN will be carried out by PT Yodya Karya (Persero)-PT Indah Karya (Persero)-PT Surya Perkasa Raya KSO.

During the review, Iwan accompanied and gave a direct explanation to President Jokowi regarding the progress of the RTJM development.
