JAKARTA - PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) has set a dividend target which is contributed to the state to reach Rp44 billion for the 2023 financial year. This number has tripled compared to the previous year.

President Director of Surveyor Indonesia, M. Haris Witjaksono, said he was optimistic that the dividend target deposited into the state could be realized, along with the company's improving financial performance.

"Our dividends this year, especially those to the government, are approximately IDR 44 billion, a very significant increase compared to last year's almost three times," said Haris at the Media Gathering event, at Graha Surveyor Indonesia, Jakarta, Monday, July 31.

Meanwhile, for the dividends distributed by Surveyor Indonesia to the ID Survey as the Holding BUMN Jasa Survey, said Haris, the amount was Rp55 billion.

"If we go to the holding (ID Survey) we will have Rp 55 billion and part of Rp44 billion to the government," he said.

For your information, the total dividends contributed by SOEs reached IDR 80.2 trillion in 2023. The deposit was given by state-owned companies with open and closed status (Tbk) (Persero) for the 2022 financial year.

"Alhamdulillah, I said earlier, yesterday there was also the President, Mrs. Sri Mulyani, how is this year's BUMN dividend, the result of last year's work was the largest in the history of Rp. 80.2 trillion," said Erick Thohir.

Furthermore, Erick Thohir said that the distribution of dividends aims to encourage people's programs. Most of the APBN allocations are indeed used to run social assistance programs (bansos) and other forms of assistance.

"For what? Programs that encourage rather than of course the people of government programs such as social assistance and others," said the PSSI chairman.

Erick Thohir also said that the amount of donations from state-owned companies is proof that the performance of SOEs is getting healthier. Therefore, SOE health needs to be maintained so that it can consistently contribute to the country.
