JAKARTA - Ahead of the limited operation in August, the construction of several Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) stations has not been completed. One of them is the Padalarang Hub Staisun which is only around 60 percent of the construction.

Responding to this, the Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga admitted that he was optimistic that the operation of KCJB would not delay the target set by the government.

As is known, the commissioning operation date or COD of the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed train will be carried out in October.

"We will be operationalized in the near future, in August (soft launching). So if someone says (the KCJB operation) is late again until next year. That means he won't update it," he said at Staisun Tegalluar, Bandung Regency, Sunday, June 25.

Furthermore, Arya also requested that the state-owned company involved in the construction of the KCJB station be completed immediately.

"It can be accelerated. SOE friends can speed up (station building). Sure we can speed up," he explained.

Construction Of The Fast Train Station Has Not Been Completed

Previously, the President Director of PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi revealed that one of the stations that had not yet been completed was Padalarang Station. In fact, this station will become a Hub.

"Padalarang (not finished). The ban is due to the relocation from Walini Station, currently (physical development is already) around 60 percent more," he told reporters, written Friday, June 23.

Although it has not been completed, Dwiyana said Padalarang Station will still be used during trials in August. The reason is, Padalarang Station is a hub station that will be used by high-speed train passengers to switch to use Feeder Train to Bandung City.

Furthermore, Dwidaya targets that Padalarang Station will be completed between September and October.

"But later on pre-operation or trial in August we will function it first, not 100 percent. We hope that September-October will be completed by Padalarang," he said.

Apart from Padalarang Station, Dwiyana said Halim Station has not yet completed 100 percent of its physical construction. Even so, the progress of the construction is much faster.

"(Halim Station is already) 92 percent physically progress," he said.

For your information, the Jakarta Bandung High Speed Train (KCJB) has four stations. The details are Halim Station in Jakarta; Karawang Station; Padalarang Hub Station, and Tegalluar Station, Bandung.
