Kemensetneg Appreciates Automotive Companies Supporting The ASEAN 2023 Summit In Labuan Bajo

The Ministry of State Secretariat appreciates the support provided by automotive companies in order to make the ASEAN 2023 Summit (KTT) a success in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, on May 9-11.

"Thank you for Wuling's support because this will be an important part of the ASEAN 2023 Summit," said Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat Setya Utama in a press release with Wuling Motors, quoted from Antara, Monday, May 1.

Setya said the ASEAN 2023 Summit is an important event to show Indonesia's seriousness in transitioning to clean energy. Automotive companies are considered to be an important part of the electric car ecosystem in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Wuling Motors President Director Shi Guoyong said he was proud to be able to support Indonesia in its important role in the international arena of the ASEAN 2023 Summit.

"This step is also a tangible manifestation of us to contribute to creating cleaner air in the future in accordance with our spirit listed in each Air ev unit for the 2023 ASEAN Summit, namely 'Shaping Clean Tomorrow'," said Guoyong.

Wuling Motors has officially handed over Air ev electric vehicles symbolically to the Ministry of State Secretariat. A total of 50 Air ev units will be used as Official Car Partners for the ASEAN 2023 Summit which will support the mobility of the delegates.

Guoyong assessed that support in the form of 50 units of Air ev will provide emission-free and environmentally friendly mobility services to all delegates present.

In the 42nd ASEAN Summit, Wuling deployed 50 units of Pristine White Air ev Long Range. All units have been decorated with special livery from the ASEAN 2023 Summit with a typical Labuan Bajo pattern.

The Wuling electric vehicle produced in Indonesia is capable of traveling up to 300 kilometers in one full battery charge so that it is considered appropriate to meet the mobility needs of the delegates.

In addition, Wuling has also prepared service and care centers for all Air ev units in Labuan Bajo. Wuling's retirement team will be on standby to monitor and ensure that the unit participating in the ASEAN 2023 Summit is in prime condition.

The maintenance services prepared at the Wuling Labuan Bajo Pool consist of charging facilities, a thorough routine examination by experienced technicians, and the Wuling Mobile Service.
