GEODEEP is the French Geothermal Company Association consisting of a large Geothermal company with a sales turnover of 100 billion euros and a total of 300 thousand employees.

These companies that are members have capacity, including Geothermal Engineering Services, Surface Engineering, Power Plant EPC, Equipment Manufacturing, Drilling Companies and Integrator of Geothermal Projects.

During the visit, it was discovered that the Geothermal project was in the midst of densely populated housing in Paris. Because it is located in a densely populated area, the management of this project is carried out professionally to protect the environment and the surrounding community.

The project has a pipe depth of 1.8 kilometers (km) and is capable of generating 15 Megawatts (MW) of power. The resulting heat energy is used as a heating system at 9,500 resident homes in Balneo and Chatillon, Greater Paris Area, with a 12-km pipeline network spread across densely populated residential areas.

Since its construction in 2016 with a total investment of 31 million Euros, this project has been able to serve local residents with a period of 30 years.
