The Success Of Hannover Messe 2023 Has A Positive Impact On Indonesia

JAKARTA - Director General of Resilience, Region, and International Industrial Access (Dirjen KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry Eko SA Cahyanto said the successful implementation of the Hannover Messe 2023 had a positive impact on Indonesia as an official partner country.

The exhibition, which took place on April 17, 2023 and ended on April 21, 2023, was opened by Indonesian President Joko Widodo and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"As an official partner country, Indonesia is very happy to be part of the biggest industrial exhibition which has a positive impact on increasing investment in Indonesia," Eko said in a statement received in Jakarta, Saturday.

Eko was present at the event together with DMAG Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jochen K\"ockler and President Verband der Elektron-und Digitalindustrie (ZVEI/Germany Industry Association) Gunther Kegel.

During the exhibition, visitors who attended conveyed a positive response to the implementation of the Indonesia program as the partner of the country Hasnover Messe 2023. The programs in question included the art performances displayed during the opening ceremony, Indonesia's opening Pavilion, accounting night, business Summit, and several conferences.

Indonesia's success as a country partner is also illustrated by the large number of visitors at the Indonesian Pavilion and 157 co-exhibitors from Indonesia.

President ZVEI stated that despite demonstrations in several areas in Germany at the same time, Hannover Messe 2023 continued to run conducively with hundreds of thousands of visitors.

Apart from business people, Hannover Messe also attracted a number of politician delegations from 50 countries to attend and contribute. This makes Hannover Messe a superior performance compared to other industrial exhibitions.

Five days of Hannover Messe's implementation gave 40,000 exhibitions optimism to integrate sustainable industries.

DMAG CEO Jochen K\"ockler believes tens of thousands of visitors to Hannover Messe 2023 have the same vision, namely to support a more competitive industry with a neutral climate.

As many as 43 percent of visitors to Hannover Messe 2023 came from outside Germany, such as China, Korea, the Netherlands, and America.

In line with the condition of the Indonesian industrial sector which is getting better after the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia's golden opportunity as a country partner for the third time has paid off sweetly.

It was recorded that until the fourth day of Hannover Messe 2023 implementation, there was one G to G cooperation agreement, four G to B cooperation agreements, and 25 B to B cooperation agreements which are projected to create around 80,000 jobs.
