Minister Of Industry Agus Reviewing Indonesia's Final Preparation Partner Country Hannover Messe 2023

JAKARTA - The world's largest industrial exhibition Hannover Messe 2023 has been opened by Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, on April 16, 2023.

To ensure the smooth preparation of the agenda, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (Menko Perekonomian) Airlangga Hartarto together with the Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and Minister of Foreign Affairs (Menlu) Retno LP Marsudi directly inspected the location of the 3,000 m2 Indonesian Pavilion Zone at Hall 2 Hannover Fairground.

"At Pavilion Indonesia, an area of 1500 m2 is used by 157 co-exhibitors divided into several zones in accordance with the Highlight Theme Indonesia Partner Country, namely zone A for companies with the theme sustainability and energy, zone B as the main zone Making Indonesia 4.0 and engineering part and solution, zone C for BUMN, zone D for investment/industrial park theme and human capital, as well as the HM zone which is intended for startup and innovation themes and HM Display Category," said Minister of Industry Agus in his press statement, Monday, April 17.

Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga said, Hannover Messe 2023 could provide an overview of economic and manufacturing developments in Indonesia.

"It is hoped that technology and investment collaboration can be held in this exhibition," he said.

In addition to visiting the Central Pavilion of Indonesia at Hall 2, the group also visited the Hannover Congress Centerrum as the venue for the opening ceremony Hannover Messe 2023.

Indonesia's main Pavilion itself carries the concept of the Pinisi ship and the tagline "Infinite Journey" in Hannover Messe 2023 which is expected to inspire and encourage participants to embrace the unbounded opportunities of the event.

The inauguration of the Indonesian Pavilion will be continued with the Walkabout, Business Summit, and Indonesia Country Night on April 17, 2023 and several conference activities with several technology-related themes on April 18-20 2023.

For your information, President Jokowi and the German Chancellor are scheduled to inaugurate the Indonesian Pavilion on April 17, 2023 at 08:45 local time.
