JAKARTA - Homecomers on domestic routes for Garuda Indonesia and Citilink ticket holders departing from Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport can now take advantage of the free TravelinPass service for easier and faster homecoming.

TravelinPass allows travelers to process departures with fast lane facilities on their way to Security Check Point 2 (SCP 2).

At SCP 2, travelers do not need to physically show an identity card or boarding pass, because verification is performed with a biometric-tech facial recognition system (biometric face recognition).

PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said TravelinPass is a form of the company's commitment to providing modern technology to provide seamless journey experience for airplane passengers.

"We hope that TravelinPass can be the main choice for travelers in processing departures for fun trips," he said in a press statement, Monday, April 17.

"Later on, TravelinPass can be used by every airplane passenger flying on domestic and international routes, both through Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3," he added.

Meanwhile, AP II VP of Corporate Communications Cin Asmoro said, TravelinPass is a queue-free solution at the check-in counter and at SCP 2.

"If you already have TravelinPass, travelers who only carry (goods) in the trunk or cabin do not need to queue at the check-in counter, and at SCP 2 you can cross the fast lane," he said.

Cin Asmoro said, to get TravelinPass, there are two options that travelers can choose from. First, travelers with Garuda and Citilink tickets can register at e-kiosk which is located in the check-in area of Terminal 3.

"When you arrive at the check-in area of Terminal 3, travelers with Garuda Indonesia and Citilink tickets can go directly to the e-kiosk which is shaped like an ATM machine and there is an AP II logo. Around the location there are also officers who are ready to provide assistance during registration," he said.

"After registration is complete, travelers can go directly to SCP 2 before going to the boarding lounge. At SCP 2, travelers can choose the fast lane path to verify in the biometric face recognition tool. When verification is successful, the autogate opens," he continued.

Then, the second option is for travelers to be able to register TravelinPass on the AP II Travelin application which can be downloaded on the Play Store and App Store, and can be accessed via mobile browser with the address url travelin.co.id.

"After downloading the Travelin application, airplane passengers register in the TravelinPass feature, including entering a ticket booking code. Arriving at Terminal 3, travelers who only bring cabin baggage can go directly to SCP 2 for data verification in a biometric face recognition device, then go to the boarding lounge," he explained.

As for when on the boarding lounge and wants to board the plane, travelers who already have TravelinPass are also able to verify in the biometric face recognition device at the autogate without showing physical identity. This facility is available at boarding lounge Gate 12, 13 and 14.

"This TravelinPass has also gone through a verification process by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation," he added.
