JAKARTA - To support the smooth flow of Eid Al-Fitr 2023 homecoming, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has given a number of appeals to all road users.

PT Jasa Marga Operations Director Fitri Wiyanti said the appeal was given to all road users so that trips during the homecoming period can be safe, smooth, and safe.

Fitri said the driver must also be fit and if he travels long, after four hours, he is expected to rest, both in rest areas and on arterial roads.

He also appealed to road users to always follow the signs and directions of officers, if later there will be the application of traffic engineering, such as contra flow or one way.

"Then, discipline in driving and road users can contact call center 14080 to provide information or convey any disturbances during the trip," he said.

Finally, said Fitri, his party appealed to road users not to stay in the rest area for long. Because, according to him, at the time of the Eid homecoming flow, the number of visitors will increase by 3-4 times the usual number.

"Always apply health protocols, maintain cleanliness, and take advantage of service posts available in rest areas," he concluded.
