JAKARTA The government through the special mission vehicle of the Ministry of Finance, PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (PII), invites the Mata Garuda Education Fund Management Agency (LPDP) Alumni Association to cooperate in the development of the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara.

President Director of PT PII Wahid Sutopo said the government encourages the role of LPDP youth to support the acceleration of sustainable development at IKN.

"This is a joint effort to increase youth knowledge and awareness about the importance of IKN development, as well as strengthen their role in realizing sustainable IKN," Wahid said in a written statement on Wednesday, April 12.

Wahid explained that his party continues to open up space for young people to participate in building the city of Indonesia's future. He also ensured that he would motivate youth to take a real role in IKN.

"We hope that this collaboration with Mata Garuda can formulate and implement the needs of competent human resources and have competitiveness in accordance with the needs of infrastructure development. Hopefully, alumni and LPDP awards will continue to be motivated to contribute to the succession of IKN development," he said.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Mata Garuda LPDP Alumni, Leonardo Henry Gavaza, stated that an effective communication room was needed so that LPDP participants could play a role in state development.

"The discussion forum needs to be intensified to provide opportunities for LPDP awardee and alumni to be involved in IKN development," he said.

Meanwhile, LPDP Scholarship Director Dwi Larso said LPDP also collaborated a lot to create a united, advanced and prosperous Indonesia in 2045 by pushing for a lot of growth locomotives evenly.

"LPDP has started to do it by providing more scholarship portions for youth outside Java. IKN is one of the new growth centers that can also accelerate the equitable development that must be supported together," he said.
