Bulog Aims For Five Countries To Bring Imported Rice

The Perum of the Logistics Affairs Agency (Bulog) is targeting five countries that will be used as importer partners to carry out the assignment of imports of 2 million tons of rice until December 2023. Bulog has pocketed this import permit.

The countries being targeted are countries that have previously become Bulog partners for import assignments in 2022. One of them is Myanmar.

Furthermore, Buwas said cooperation contracts with five partner countries would be carried out in stages. Where the import of 2 million tons of rice takes into account the supply or absorption of rice in the country. In particular, during this year's harvest.
