This number decreased compared to 2022 which was provided at IDR 46.85 trillion.

"Towards Eid, we cover the risk operation. Regarding liquidity risk, the bank's ability to provide cash, we have calculated BRI for the holiday we provide Rp32 trillion," said BRI President Director Sunarso during a hearing (RDP) with Commission VI DPR RI, Tuesday, March 28.

Sunarso added that his party also ensures that corruption is not exposed to risk operations in its services ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

"This is outside the reserve. This is liquidity, so we provide it," said Sunarso.

He also ensured that BRI's banking liquidity reserves were still very safe, including the cost of distributing dividends to customers which will be carried out this month amounting to IDR 43 trillion.

Previously, the BRI Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) decided to distribute dividends of 85 percent or IDR 43.49 trillion from net profit in 2022 to shareholders.
