Sri Mulyani Said About The Pagar Puskesmas 'Eat' The Stunting Budget

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani was surprised at the use of the stunting handling budget in the area used for the purpose of the puskesmas fence.

According to him, this clearly violates the budget allocation plan that has been intended by the government.

Earlier it was conveyed that there was a replacement for the puskesmas fence to be categorized as stunting. Even though the items that were really for stunting babies were only 34 trillion. Imagine the small portion that entered the mouth of the baby and pregnant women. Meanwhile, there are 283 sub-activities with a total budget of IDR 77 trillion," he said as quoted on Thursday, March 16.

The Minister of Finance explained that this condition shows that there are separate problems in the bureaucratic system in Indonesia.

"This illustrates a lot of our homework, and the hardest thing is to simplify the bureaucracy not just to be promoted but really solve the problem," he said.

Meanwhile, Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Abdullah Azwar Anas revealed that he had implemented online consultations so as to cut official travel costs.

"There are no more scheduled official trips, usually every new rule is full of our office to entertain until the banquet runs out," he said as quoted by Antara.

The efficiency of local government official travel is said to be IDR 75 billion which can be diverted for stunting handling.

"We can save approximately a few months if we count official trips that save Rp75 billion and if we distribute them for stunting, we can get 14,700 stunting babies that require attention from all of us," he said.
