JAKARTA The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. (BNI) approved a reshuffle in the composition of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors within the company.

BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar said the Annual GMS approved the honorable dismissal and re-appointment of Mr. Sigit Widyawan as BNI Independent Commissioner.

"In addition, the Annual GMS approved the appointment of Robertus Billitea as Commissioner of BNI. He currently serves as President Director of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero) or IFG," he said during a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, March 15.

Through this Annual GMS decision, the composition of members of the BNI Board of Commissioners becomes:

- Finance Director Novita Widya Anggraini,

- Director of Human Capital & Compliance Mucharom,

On that occasion, the issuer codenamed BBNI shares conveyed dividend distribution of IDR 7.32 trillion or equivalent to 40 percent of net profit obtained in 2022 amounting to IDR 18.31 trillion.

Meanwhile, the government received the largest allotment of IDR 4.39 trillion for being the controlling shareholder with a portion of 40 percent.

While the remaining Rp2.92 trillion or 40 percent will be given to public shareholders in accordance with their respective ownership portions.
