The Ministry Of Transportation's Free Homecoming List Can Register Via The Partners Of Land Application

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Land Transportation or again held free homecoming for Eid al-Fitr 2023.

To participate in this free homecoming, people can register through the MitraDarat application.

Director of Road Transportation, Suharto said that the MitraDarat application itself can be downloaded or downloaded by the public on the PlayStore or AppStore.

"People who want to register for free homecoming can access online through the MitraDarat application," he said in a virtual press conference, Monday, March 13.

Suharto explained that after downloading the application, prospective travelers can login to the application. Then, enter an email or Google account. Next enter the phone number (WhatsApp) and enter the OTP code. If the login is successful, the MitraDarat application dashboard will appear.

Furthermore, to order a free homecoming ticket, said Suharto, prospective travelers can choose the 'Free Homecoming' menu on the MitraDarat application. Then select the departure location and homecoming destination, then select the appropriate bus fleet.

After that, prospective travelers can fill in their personal data. Ordering tickets ends by clicking the 'Finish Order' button," he said.

Suharto explained that the registration for free homecoming will be open starting today from March 13, 2023, to April 14, 2023. However, registration can be closed at any time if the quota has expired.

Furthermore, Suharto hopes that the use of the MitraDarat application like this can minimize deficiencies such as the presence of people who register in many free Homecoming programs, causing a vacancy in bus seats when leaving.

As for the Requirements and Provisions for Free Homecoming in 2023, among others, online registration, through the 'MitraDarat' mobile application. Participants are also required to have valid population documents when registering (KTP). Each participant can only choose 1 (one) city for homecoming purposes," he said.

Free Homecoming PP

Suharto explained, if free homecoming participants will follow homecoming (PP), then backflow registration is carried out simultaneously when registering for homecoming, provided that the city's origin is the same as the city to go home.

"Not serving registration is only backflow or urban flow," he explained.

Free music participants are given D+7 (seven) time after the registration date, to re-register or re-validate at the designated post.

"If through D+7 (seven) participants do not re-validate, then the participant data is considered dead/hangus (the quota will automatically increase), and cannot re-registered (NIK is blocked by the system) in order to provide opportunities for other participants who want to register/not yet get a quota of homecoming/reversely," he explained.

Participants who go back and forth on motorbikes, said Suharto, must bring vehicle documents (STNK and SIM) and driving equipment and hand over motorbikes according to the specified date or H-1 (one) before the date of departure of the bus.

"What is no less important is that every participant of the free homecoming is expected to be physically and mentally healthy at the time of departure of the homecoming / reverse flow and must come at least 1 (one) hour before departure time," he explained.
