PT PLN (Persero) East Nusa Tenggara Regional Main Unit complements personnel with reliable electricity service operating standards (SOP) to support the implementation of the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.

"All of our personnel in the field are equipped with pocket books for SOPs and for reliable electricity services during the ASEAN Summit," said General Manager of PLN UIW NTT Fintje Lumembang in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Monday, March 13.

He said this was related to the readiness of PLN personnel in providing electricity services to support the implementation of the ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, Flores Island, NTT, in May 2023.

Fintje explained that the SOP pocket book was also prepared for electric vehicle drivers and video tutorials for the use of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU).

PLN will provide as many as 100 SPKLU units to support serving 275 units of delegates' electric cars and security, operational vehicles and 105 patrol motor vehicles and escorts.

Fintje explained, in addition, standby picket officers also received training on reliable electricity services during the ASEAN Summit.

"So those who are ready besides our electricity infrastructure, are also reliable human resources to make activities a success," he said.

Furthermore, he explained that his party increased the reliability of the electricity system to support these activities in the form of a number of steps such as an assessment of Labuan Bajo system operations, installation of all locations and preparing supporting schemes.

In terms of accelerating the provision of communication facilities and regulations (supervisory control and data acquisition), he said, radio communication and repeaters will be added, accelerating the construction of regional control centers and existing scada integration.

Fintje added that PLN is ready to provide the best service for the implementation of ASEAN Summit activities both in the use of electric vehicles and electricity supply during the activity.
