Bio Farma Explores Cooperation With Zimbabwe

JAKARTA - Bio Farma received a working visit from the Zimbabwe Delegation led by Chef Director Curative, Dr.M.G. Hove, in Bandung City, West Java. This visit is a further assessment of the potential partnership between Bio Farma and Zimbabwe.Chief Direction Curative Hove in a written statement expressed his gratitude to Bio Farma for the acceptance and opportunity to discuss more about cooperation opportunities. "We are very pleased to visit Bio Farma and hope that in the future there will be an agreement to exchange information related to Bio Farma's health technology and Zimbabwe in vaccine production and distribution," said Hove, quoted from Antara, Friday, March 10. Previously, the Vice President of Zimbabwe, General (Retin) Constantino Chiwenga also visited Bio Farma on May 20, 2022, which aims to seek potential cooperation in the health sector, particularly in the manufacturing and distribution of vaccines. In addition to visiting Bio Farma Pasteur Bandung production facilities, Zimbabwean delegates also visited Kimia Farma manufacturing facilities in Banjaran, Bandung Regency.The working visit of the Zimbabwean Delegation was accompanied by Nathpharm Board Chairerson, Ruth R. Kaseke, Acting Ambassador Zimbabwe to Indonesia, Ms. Viola Matongorere and Coincellor Embasssy of Zimbabwe, Hillary Makumbe along with a team of Zimbabwe delegates and the Indonesian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Dewa Made J. Sastrawan. The visit was accepted by the Deputy Managing Director of Bio Farma, Soleh Kapolisi, Director of Bio Farma Business Mining, Yuliana Indriati along with Bio Farma's expert team. Souki said that Bio Farma Group has a variety of products ranging from vaccines, vitamins, medicines, medicines, medical, medical devices, health devices, and other health services.
