The decision of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) to dismiss Rafael Alun Trisambodo alias RAT as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) did not immediately abort his right to retire.

This information was revealed from the Ministry of Finance's official statement quoted by VOI today, Thursday, March 9.

It is known that the determination of the removal of pensions for RAT still has to go on a long road. The reason is, after being fired as an ASN, the KPK will still carry out an examination.

"So that it cannot be processed for retirement and is waiting for the settlement of the criminal justice," said the agency led by Sri Mulyani explaining.

In fact, the father of the perpetrator of the persecution Mario Dandy may still get pension rights if he manages to prove himself innocent for all the prejudices that have been accused so far.

"After a criminal decision is made, if the person concerned is proven to have committed a criminal act of office, then he will not be given a pension," said the Ministry of Finance's report.

In yesterday's editorial report, the Inspector General (Irjen) of the Ministry of Finance, Awan Nurmawan Nuh, said that the process of dismissing RAT was still ongoing at the Inspectorate General

"The recommendation for dismissal as an ASN has been issued and the Minister (Sri Mulyani) has agreed," said Awan.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance Heru Pambudi confirmed that he had received a letter of recommendation from the Inspectorate General.

"Currently in the administrative process of dismissal and fulfilling the required files for that," said Heru.

Meanwhile, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance Yustinus Prastowo guarantees that the administrative process at the Secretariat General will not take long.

"Within a matter of days, all the process of dismissal has been completed," he said.
