Coordinating Minister Airlangga: Need Extra Effort To Keep Inflation Controlled

Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto stated that the government continues to initiate various steps to reduce inflation in order to achieve the set target.

According to him, this effort is evidenced by solid coordination from the Central and Regional Inflation Control Team (TPIP/TPID) in controlling volatile food (VF) amid increased administrative prices (APP).

"In mitigating transmission from rising global commodity prices and domestic risks, the central government, local governments and Bank Indonesia in the TPIP-TPID forum must continue to carry out various extra efforts to keep inflation's achievements under control," he said at the launch of the National Food Inflation Control Movement (GNPIP) 2023, Sunday, March 5.
