Regarding The Pertamina Plumpang Depot Fire, Heru Budi: Hopefully The Critical Can Recover

Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono stated that the victims of the Pertamina Plumpang Depot fire, North Jakarta could be handled. He prayed for them to recover soon and get through this difficult time.

"Hopefully, we pray that it can be resolved and can pass, if those who are critical, hopefully they can recover," Heru said as reported by Antara, Saturday, March 4.

Heru ensured that all preparations had been made to help and care for the victims. "Hopefully there will be enough medicine, enough paramedics, we will deploy an ambulance," he said.

He also said joint officers continued to comb around Jalan Koramil and the area of the fire incident. This is done to find victims who have not been found and may be buried by the rubble of the building.

Meanwhile, Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office, Widyastuti, said that there were a number of hospitals that handled the victims of the Pertamina Plumpang Depot fire. In addition to those around the scene, Pertamina Central Hospital (RSPP) and Police Hospital are ready to be referral places if needed.

"Of course we do the emergency principle, there are already patients who can go home and some above 80 percent (burn) are still being treated. We are alerting hospitals, referral hospitals and central hospitals," he said.

Data from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) North Jakarta stated that eight people were still missing after the fire incident in Plumpang, Koja, North Jakarta. Children and toddlers who were declared missing have been found and have been recorded.

Meanwhile, the number of refugees, from the data at 04.17 WIB, there were 332 people who took refuge in the North Jakarta PMI Headquarters area. In detail, there are 163 adults, 108 children, 38 toddlers, and 23 elderly people.
