Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati conducted a review of the National Strategic Project (PSN) of the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulonprogo toll road.

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance was accompanied by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimoeljono and the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo.

Sri Mulyani explained that the land acquisition from the toll road was funded by the State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) which is a Public Service Agency (BLU) under the Ministry of Finance.

It was recorded that the realized budget was IDR 5.9 trillion.

"That is the support of the state budget, state money, money from our taxes that are used hundreds of trillions to build various national strategic projects for the benefit of the people," he said in a press release today, Monday, February 27.

According to him, this infrastructure facility has direct benefits for the community, including the acceleration of connectivity in the Yogyakarta-Solo-Semarang (Joglosemar) region which is expected to encourage an increase in the growth of the tourism sector and the creative economy.

"I ordered the people to be guided because they suddenly held money worth billions (for residents whose land was purchased by the government). So if the first car dealer came, please then make it a decision for them to be able to invest in the long term because it will determine their welfare in the future," he said.

In addition to land acquisition, APBN support is also realized in the form of State Capital Participation for PT Adhi Karya in the amount of Rp1.4 trillion and guarantees carried out by PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (PII).

Furthermore, this toll road is also prepared to deal with increased mobility through the opening of the route from the Kartasura interchange to Klaten along 6 km functionally for the upcoming Eid 2023 homecoming flow.

"The use of the APBN will continue to be encouraged for economic recovery, namely for priority infrastructure investment financing which includes land and construction funding, in order to realize various benefits of multiplier for the community," closed the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
