BENGKULU - MinyaKi Kita subsidized cooking oil disappeared and caused the price of premium packaged cooking oil in the traditional market of Bengkulu City to increase from Rp. 16 thousand to Rp. 18,000 to Rp. 21 thousand per liter depending on the brand. Traders at the Modern Traditional Market (PTM) Bengkulu City, Jhon in Bengkulu, said that the increase in premium cooking oil prices due to the loss of MinyaKita. "Because of the scarcity of MinyaKita in the market following the application of package sales by distributors," said Jhon as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, February 26. According to him, with the application of package sales, MinyaKit with soft drinks that will expire by distributors, the traders were forced to increase the price of MinyaKi, which was previously Rp. 14 thousand to Rp. 16 thousand per liter. and for 10 liter per person, this was done to ensure the availability and stability of cooking oil prices in the market.

Previously, on February 12, 2023, as many as 236 tons of Minya Kita had been distributed to all traditional markets in Bengkulu Province through distributors. Meanwhile, his party ensured that the availability of Minya Kita in Bengkulu when Ramadan was sufficient because the central government would allocate a Minya Kita of 450 thousand tons throughout Indonesia.
