Good News For Prospective Travelers, Tickets For Eid Trains Can Be Ordered Now!

JAKARTA PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) informs that the 2023 homecoming ticket can be booked today for the noble departure of D-10 Lebaran.

Head of Public Relations Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa said the policy was in accordance with the new rules, namely booking 45 days before Eid al-Fitr.

The previous rules set a policy 30 days before Eid al-Fitr.

"Through this new policy, we hope that the public can more freely plan travel at the moment of Eid homecoming," he said in a press statement on Sunday, January 26.

Eva explained, KAI advises the public to make purchases through the KAI Access application.

The reason is, online purchases can be easier without having to physically attend the station.

"We remind prospective customers to always be careful in choosing dates and routes and re-examination of the process of filling in personal data when ordering tickets," he said.

Eva added, KAI will carry out various preparations for both facilities, infrastructure, and human resources.

The safety inspection and application of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) have also been carried out. In addition, KAI officers also continue to be prepared in order to provide train services that are safe, safe, comfortable and healthy," he stressed.

For information, up to now there are around 30,000 long-distance train service users per day departing from the Daop 1 Jakarta area with a total average journey of 60 trains per day departing from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station.

This number will still change with the existence of an additional train departure program which is usually run during the Eid transportation period.

"Daop 1 Jakarta will re-socialize the number of additional trains that will be carried out during the Eid Transport period. The public can also carry out periodic checks through the KAI Access application," concluded Eva.
