Pertamina EP Field Poleng Add Oil And Gas Production From Sumur BW 04 And BW 06

PT Pertamina EP Field Poleng has succeeded in increasing oil and gas production through the workover activities of BW-04 and BW-06 wells. The BW platform itself is located in Poleng, the area to be precise was released by the north coast of Madura Island.

Poleng Field Manager, M Luthfi Ferdiansyah said the workover activities of the two wells increased oil and gas production for Poleng by 189 BOPD and 11.23 MMSCFD.

He said that with the success of the BW-04 and BW-06 well workovers, the achievement of Field Poleng's oil and gas production rose high and proved that Field Poleng has a lot of potential in production development.

"In the future, Field Poleng will continue several RKs in AW-02; CW-09 and CW-12 in order to pursue the production targets that have been set in 2023," he said in an official statement, Saturday, February 25.

Luthfi detailed that from the BW-04 Field Poleng well, 156 BOPDs and 4.27 MMSCFD of gas were produced, as well as 33 BOPDs of oil and 6.96 MMSCFD of gas, of which the production results exceeded the target charged, which was 50 BOPD and 1.3 MMSCFD.

On a separate occasion, the General Manager of Zone 11, Muhamad Arifin, expressed his appreciation for the performance of the BW-04 and BW-06 well workovers.

"This well has increased oil and gas production in zone 11, as part of our commitment to support the company's performance targets. We appreciate the hard work of our friends in making this happen while still prioritizing the health and safety of work," said Muhaman Arifin.

Engineering & Planning Assistant Manager of PEP Poleng, Muhartriyas Wibisono, also said that he should always look for opportunities to increase production of Oil and Gas.

"Although the number of wells is small, never give up on finding opportunities to increase production, both oil and gas production, and Field Poleng will focus on implementing HSSE and be optimistic that it will achieve the production target," concluded Muhartriyas.
