Supreme, Jakarta Contributed 16.1 Percent Investment Realization Of PMDN In 2022 Throughout Indonesia

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta recorded a realization of domestic investment (PMDN) of IDR 89.2 trillion in 2022. Jakarta contributed 16.1 percent of the total realization of PMDN throughout Indonesia.

Based on the records of the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), this achievement led DKI Jakarta to rank highest in the realization of PMDN compared to other regions in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the realization of foreign investment investment (PMA) in Jakarta throughout 2022 recorded a realization of US$ 3.7 billion or around Rp53.8 trillion, 8.2 percent of the total national realization of PMA.

"Cumulatively, the realization of investment for PMDN and PMA DKI Jakarta throughout 2022 will reach a total of Rp. 143 trillion," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP), Benni Aguscandra in his statement, Wednesday, February 22.

Benni said, the realization of PMDN and PMA investments increased quite significantly, which was 38.4 percent compared to last year's 2021 which received IDR 103.3 trillion.

"The investment performance of DKI Jakarta recorded positive results. This achievement cannot be separated from the direction of the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta so that all levels of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continue to make various innovations in providing excellent public services to the public in order to encourage investment rates in Jakarta," he explained.

Furthermore, Benni explained that the largest business sector for the realization of PMDN investment in DKI Jakarta throughout 2022 is the construction sector with a value of IDR 18.8 trillion or 21.1 percent. The realization of PMA investment is dominated by the transportation, warehouse and telecommunications business sector which reaches IDR 20 trillion or 37.2 percent.

Based on the mapping of cities and administrative districts, the cumulative realization of investment in Jakarta throughout 2022 is mostly in South Jakarta. The investment value is IDR 63.2 trillion or 44 percent of the total investment realization of DKI Jakarta throughout 2022.

Then, the realization of PMDN and PMA in Central Jakarta amounted to IDR 27.3 trillion, East Jakarta IDR 25.1 trillion, North Jakarta IDR 18.6 trillion, West Jakarta IDR 8.6 trillion, and the Thousand Islands IDR 2.1 billion.
