Angkasa Pura I: Lombok Airport Ready To Receive WSBK 2023 Logistics Arrival

PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok International Airport, West Nusa Tenggara, is ready to receive the arrival of the World Superbike (WSBK) logistics which will be held at the Mandalika Circuit, March 3-5, 2023.

"In terms of facilities, infrastructure, Lombok Airport is ready to support the 2023 WSBK event, both to serve the arrival and return of logistics," said Public Relations of PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok Airport, Arif Haryanto in Praya, quoted from Antara, Monday, February 20.

In addition to infrastructure, the human resources (HR) of PT Angkasa Pura I Lombok Airport are also ready to serve the arrival and return of the riders, crew, and spectators at the WSBK event which was carried out for the third time at the Mandalika Circuit. "The service is ready, including human resources," he said.

He said, specifically on the air side, his party prepared four special parking stands for wide-body aircraft such as Boeing 747/Boeing 777 and allocated 14 parking stands for narrow-body aircraft for regular flights. "The aircraft parking location has also been prepared," he said.

Temporary information states that the 2023 WSBK logistics will be transported by one aircraft belonging to the Qantas Airways Boeing 747-400F which departs from Avalon, Australia, and is planned to arrive at Lombok Airport on February 28, 2023. "There is one aircraft scheduled to arrive to carry WSBK logistics," he said.

Previously, the Director of Traffic of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Djoni Widodo in Praya, said that three logistics containers of WSBK Mandalika 2023 through the launching route had arrived safely at the Mandalika Circuit.

"Alhamdulillah, the logistics of the 2023 WSBK escorted by our members arrived safely and safely at the Mandalika Circuit. It still looks intact," he said.
