JAKARTA - Indonesia is the first ASEAN country to become a country partner for the third time at the Hannover Messe 2023 international industrial trade show which will be held in Germany, on April 17-21.

"Being a country partner in Hannover Messe is a great opportunity to realize Indonesia's vision to be included in the top 10 countries that have the strongest economies in the world by 2030. This target is through the development of seven priority sectors, namely the food and beverage industry, textiles and clothing, automotive, electronics, chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices," said the Director General of Security, Region, and International Industrial Access (KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) Eko SAS in his official statement, quoted on Friday, February 17.

Eko said, through Hannover Messe 2023, Indonesia will again feature a number of industrial technology 4.0 and investment opportunities in the industrial sector.

In addition, various series of activities related to industry 4.0, business summit, and conferences at the Indonesian Pavilion at the Hannover Messe Fairground with an area of about 3000 square meters.

"More than 150 co-exhibitors will represent each subtheme, which includes Engineering Parts and Solutions, Future Hub, Sustainability and Energy Transition, Global Business and Markets, Compressed Air and Vacuum, Digital Ecostems, Drive Technology and Automation, as well as Motion and Drives," said Eko.

According to the plan, Indonesia will display the progress of the development of Industrial Estates, Economic Zones, and the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago.

By carrying the Pinisi screen logo and the "Infinite Journey" tagline, Hannover Messe 2023 is expected to inspire and encourage participants to embrace unlimited opportunities.
