Budi's statement was in response to the Chairman of Commission V DPR RI Lasarus. At the meeting, Larasarus said that so far this Pansela route has not been used optimally as an alternative route during homecoming.
"We still get reports for Pansela that we still need to improve the road safety facilities in order for us to face Lebaran later," said Lasarus.
According to Lasarus, the road conditions on the Pansela route are quite good. However, he admitted that he received reports of lack of safety facilities in these southern coastal districts.
"Please allow the Minister if it is still possible for us to pursue it ahead of the upcoming Eid. Maybe it needs to be conveyed to us the progress of handling this Pansela," he said.
