JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Construction has signed 89 special packages for the construction of IKN Nusantara for Fiscal Year (TA) 2022-2023.

The Director General of Construction Development at the Ministry of PUPR Yudha Mediawan said that his party had carried out a special tender or selection of IKN special packages for the 2022-2022 Fiscal Year as many as 129 packages with a total value of IDR 28.88 trillion.

"For the progress of the IKN special package selection tender in 2022-2023, this total package is approximately 129 packages with a value of Rp. 28.8 trillion," Yudha said at a Hearing Meeting (RDP) at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 14.

Yudha said, as many as 16 packages are still in the tender process, 10 IKN packages or Rp. 106 billion have not been determined, and six IKN packages worth Rp. 1.78 trillion have been determined.

"Meanwhile, 24 other special IKN packages or worth Rp. 1.9 trillion have not been tendered or selected," he said.

"For those who have not carried out this tender or selection, it is because the criteria for readiness (readiness criteria) and documents must be supported in the auction process," concluded Yudha.

Previously, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) would auction off 30 packages of IKN Nusantara development projects with a value of IDR 23.7 trillion this year.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said this auction was carried out to find investors who would later be appropriate and willing to work on basic infrastructure. Meanwhile, the budget is planned to come from the APBN.

"All the value is Rp. 23.7 trillion. That's for 30 packages. Not including KPBU (Government and Business Entity Cooperation) this year, it's only for the basis carried out by APBN through PUPR," said Basuki at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 17.

Meanwhile, last year, the government realized the IKN development contract of 40 packages with a total of IDR 25.98 trillion.
