Regarding Disputes In The Jatikarya Toll Road, KPUPR: Paid And Wait For A Court Decision

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) responded to the Jatikarya Bekasi toll road, which was blockaded by local residents, today.

Director General of Highways of the Ministry of PUPR Hedy Rahadian said that his party had completed the payment related to the land used for the construction of the toll road.

"Indeed, there was a problem in the payment, then it was claimed by someone else, so the BPN did not dare to issue it, because this was included in the dispute. We Bina Marga's job is to pay or hand over the compensation money to the court," Hedy told reporters, Wednesday, February 8.

Hedy said the process was currently underway and the decision was entirely in court. "So, indeed our task is declared complete by handing over the money to the court to be paid," he said.

Regarding the Jatikarya Bekasi Toll Road which was blocked, said Hedy, his party would hand over the matter to the authorities. "We will coordinate with BUJT and the security forces regarding road blockade," he said.
