4. Water Usage Fee

Similar to the cost of using electricity, the cost of water bills in apartments is also more expensive than landed houses. Generally, apartments are subject to special house rates. The cost of using up to 10 thousand liters of clean water is IDR 3.70 per liter and using more than 10 liters is IDR 7.15 per liter.

5. IPL fee

Management fees (IPL) are used for building operations, such as electricity, water, and cleaning. The IPL fee is determined by the Association of Flat Owners and Occupants (P3SRS), in which the amount is calculated from the predetermined base rate multiplied by the area of ​​the occupant's apartment unit.

6. Fee of Sinking Fund

Sinking fund is building management savings. These funds are used for the cost of replacing or maintaining building components, including electrical and water supply installations.

Tenants must budget 10-15 percent of the IPL for sinking fund costs.

7. Parking fee

Some apartment managers waive free parking fees by providing one parking allowance for each unit. Others, however, do not enforce such rules.

Generally, an occupant has to spend a budget of around IDR 20,000 to IDR 100,000 per month for a motorbike. As for cars in the range of IDR 100 thousand to IDR 300 thousand per month.

8. Laundry fee

If your apartment unit is not too large to accommodate a washing machine, then laundry is the only option.
