Setting a Record, PTPN V Earns Highest Profit of up to IDR 1.5 Trillion in 2022

JAKARTA - PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) V has set a new record in achieving its financial statements. This is because PTPN V's unaudited profit reaches IDR 1.5 trillion in 2022.

This amount is the highest record for as long as the company has been established after the previous year it recorded the highest profit of IDR 1.3 trillion in 2021 and IDR 417 billion in 2020 respectively.

"Two years ago, we managed to present the best performance with the highest net profit in history for two years in a row, and God willing, this year we will have a hat trick to break the record for the highest net income in history for the third time", said PTPN V CEO, Jatmiko K Santosa, quoted Antara, Monday, February 6.

Even so, he again reminded that the achievements that have been achieved should not make all employees complacent. In front of thousands of employees, he exposed the threat of the dangers of success's snare.

The snare of success, he said, is the most dangerous stage for a company. If a company and all employees feel successful, he continued, destruction is clearly lurking.

He gave an example of how many large companies at the beginning of the millennium were so powerful but are now being swallowed up by the earth.

For this reason, he asked that the prime foundation that has been achieved by PTPN V at this time should be maintained and continuously strengthened.

"Never stop innovating. We should never feel successful so we don't get caught up in success", he explained.

On the same occasion, the Main Commissioner of PTPN V, Fauzi Yusuf also appreciated the company's performance which has continued to grow significantly in the last three years. In line with Jatmiko, Fauzi also warned not to be lulled by this positive performance.

"Alhamdulillah, in 2022 with all the dynamics and challenges, we will continue to move forward. God willing, in 2023 we will continue to move forward to achieve something better than the previous year", he concluded.
