JAKARTA The implementation of the 2023 Mandiri Investment Forum (MIF) by PT Bank Mandiri Tbk. is said to have helped facilitate investment activities in the Capital Archipelago (IKN) area. This was confirmed by the Head of the IKN Authority Bambang Susantono.

According to him, a number of investment sectors that investors are interested in include infrastructure, education, housing, commercial areas, information technology, offices, and the health sector.

"This very high investor interest strengthens optimism to be able to build a complete city ecosystem in IKN in 2024, as well as lay a strong foundation for further development," he said in a written statement on Thursday, February 2.

Bambang explained that currently there are three investors who are ready to build housing in IKN, namely the CCFG Corp Consortium. and PT Risjadson Brunsfield Nusantara with an investment of IDR 30.8 trillion. Then, Korea Land and Housing Corp with an investment of IDR 8.65 trillion and PT Summarecon Agung Tbk IDR 1.67 trillion.

"Through this investment, 184 residential towers will be built with a capacity of 14,500 people and are planned to be completed by the end of 2024," he said.

On the same occasion, Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan Junaidi stated that his party is strongly committed to supporting the government in the development of IKN Nusantara, downstreaming SDA and optimizing clean energy and the green economy.

"The MIF 2023 event facilitates potential investors to obtain information updates regarding investment opportunities in Indonesia and a series of policy reforms that have been introduced by the government to attract investors," he said.

He also ensured that Bank Mandiri Group was committed to contributing to continuing to strengthen economic growth amid the increasing risk of a global recession.

"We are ready to develop a sustainable financing ecosystem from upstream to downstream and an ESG framework that refers to best practices," he said.
