The Managing Director Of Food Station Advises Traders To Sell SPHP Rice At A Price Of Rp. 8,900 Per Kilogram

PT Food Station held a meeting with rice traders at the Cipinang Main Market which was also attended by the National Police Headquarters Food Task Force Team to discuss the continued distribution of medium rice, through the Supply Stabilization and Food Price (SPHP) program in DKI Jakarta, in order to control inflation, Friday 27 January.

President Director of PT Food Station, Pamrihadi Wiraryo, said that since October 2022 until now, the Food Station has continued to communicate with Perum Bulog in order to maintain supply availability and stabilization of medium rice prices, where this week Bulog will distribute 2,000 tons of medium rice per day through the Cipinang Rice Main Market (PIBC).

Pamrihadi also further conveyed that regarding the distribution of medium rice that had been carried out previously, it would be continued that as many as 2,000 tons are expected to stabilize the price of medium rice in DKI Jakarta, which currently exceeds the Highest Retail Price (HET) set by the government, he said.

He said, for the distribution of SPHP rice, the distribution mechanism was carried out through Partner Distribution at PIBC as many as 86 traders who already have distribution partners in derivative markets that can come into direct contact with end-level consumers. The rice is at a selling price at the PIBC trader level of Rp. 8,900 per kilogram, where in each store a price banner will be installed, with the target selling price for the people in the derivative market to Rp9,300 per kilogram.

In his direction to traders, Pamrihadi reminded Cipinang Main Market traders not to take advantage of seeking big profits from market conditions. Traders are asked to make a statement letter in which there will be sanctions if they sell above the predetermined price.

This statement was strengthened by Sardjono from the Food Task Force, which will be monitored in the field by the food task force team which will coordinate with the Police and the local police.

According to Sardjono, the supervision of the distribution of KPSH rice at the Cipinang Main Market is to ensure that the state is present to help people get good quality rice and affordable prices through this SPHP program, so that it runs on time and on target.
