2 Migas WKs In Jambi Ready To Work, Governor Al Haris Please Advance The Regional Economy

JAKARTA - The government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) witnessed the signing of a Contract Sharing Results for 2 Working Areas (WK) Results from the 2022 Direct Offer Auction between the Oil and Gas Special Task Force (SKK Migas) with Cooperation Contract Contractors for WK Central Jabung and West Kampar.

Present on the same occasion, Jambi Governor Al Haris welcomed the signing of the contract and stated that he would support all central policies.

"We are ready to make the oil and gas sector investment climate in Jambi Province safe, comfortable and conducive," said Al Haris in his remarks, Wednesday, January 25.

He hopes that the two WK contractors will involve local workers so that they can boost the regional economy and reduce unemployment.

"We hope that the two oil and gas workers can involve the original Jambi personnel who have the potential and competence in the oil and gas sector," he concluded.

For information, WK West Kampar is located in the administrative areas of Riau Province and North Sumatra.

This WK has a potential resource of 130 MMBOs, where in the WK there are also production fields, namely the Pendaliant Field with OOIP 10.4 MMBO (2P Risk), Cumulative Production 0.8 MMBO and Remaining Reserve 9.6 MMBO.

Meanwhile, Central Jabung WK is located in the administrative areas of Riau, Jambi and Riau Provinces, and has the potential for an estimated resource of 200 MMBOE.

The two Migas WKs are contracts that use a cost recovery scheme with a 20 year WK West Kampar Production period and WK Exploration, namely WK Central Jabung with a period of 30 years.

Prior to the signing of the contract, KKKS had completed its financial obligation, namely payment of bonus signatures and submitting guarantees of implementation in accordance with applicable regulations.
