JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Housing allocated a budget for the provision of housing in the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago of IDR 537.1 billion in 2023.

The Director General of Housing at the Ministry of PUPR, Iwan Suprijanto, said that the budget for the provision of housing in IKN was intended for the residence of construction workers and landed houses in ministerial positions.

"Regarding IKN support, it is only a continuation of what started in 2022, namely the landed house of ministerial office, which in 2023 is allocated Rp337.1 billion," Iwan said in a Hearing Meeting with Commission V DPR RI monitored online, Wednesday, January 25.

Iwan said that the construction worker's residence to be completed in the near future will be allocated as a budget of Rp. 200 billion.

"So, it is hoped that in the not too distant future, it will be utilized and functioned in February," he added.
