PURWAKARTA - The achievement of investment realization in the Purwakarta Regency, West Java, throughout January to December 2022 reached IDR 8.78 trillion or an increase compared to the previous year.
Purwakarta Regent Anne Ratna Mustika said the realization of investment in Purwakarta until the fourth quarter of 2022 reached Rp8.78 trillion.
He said that the realization of the investment had exceeded the target of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), which was IDR 5.88 trillion.

According to him, the Investment Activity Report (LKPM) reached IDR 3.03 trillion, consisting of IDR 2.61 trillion of PMA investment and IDR 420 billion of PMDN investment.
Meanwhile, cumulatively, the realization of PMA and PMDN investments from January to December 2022 in Purwakarta was Rp. 8.78 trillion, consisting of PMA investments of Rp. 6.36 trillion (72.55 percent) and PMDN investments of Rp. 2.4 trillion (27.45 percent).
"The total achievement rate of Purwakarta's investment realization target in 2022 is IDR 8.78 trillion from the investment value targeted by BKPM of IDR 5.88 trillion or 149.26 percent," said Anne.
Based on LKPM data submitted by business actors, year on year, Purwakarta's investment realization grew 85.54 percent, from IDR 4.73 trillion in 2021 to IDR 8.78 trillion in 2022.
According to him, this growth had an impact on the number of workers absorbed year on year growing 137.85 percent, from 3,287 people in 2021 to 7,818 people in 2022.
