JAKARTA The Ministry of Finance reported that the realization of state revenue in the 2022 (unaudited) State Budget reached IDR 2,626.4 trillion.

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that the amount was equivalent to 115.9 percent of the target of IDR 2,266.2 trillion according to Presidential Decree 98/2022.

"This achievement is in line with the increasingly strong economic recovery and the relatively high boost in commodity prices," he said through a virtual channel on Tuesday, January 3.

According to the Minister of Finance, the book for the 2022 period rose 30.6 percent from the realization in 2021 which actually had a growth of 22.1 percent.

"The condition of the 2022 State Budget is experiencing a very good and relatively very fast restructuring," he said.

The Minister of Finance explained that in fact the 2022 State Budget Law only targets state revenues of IDR 1,846.1 trillion. This value was then revised upward based on Presidential Decree 98/2022 to IDR 2,266.2 trillion.

As a result, he continued, state revenues could still exceed the target that had been raised since the middle of the year according to the government's agreement with the DPR.

Furthermore, the Minister of Finance detailed that this state revenue was supported by three receipts, namely tax revenues, non-tax state revenues (PNBP), and grants.

For the first time, tax revenues were realized Rp2,034.5 trillion, which came from tax revenues of Rp1,716.8 trillion and customs and excise revenues of Rp317.8 trillion.
