Puan Maharani's Husband-owned Company Gets Credit Of IDR 467 Billion From Bank Mandiri

JAKARTA - The company owned by the husband of the Speaker of the DPR, Puan Maharani, namely Happy Hapsoro, PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) officially pocketed a loan from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) with a value of 30 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp467.16 billion.

Rukun Raharja's Corporate Secretary, Yuni Pattinasari, said that the credit facility agreement was signed on December 29, 2022 with PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) where the company obtained Credit facilities from BMRI with a total of 30 million US dollars.

"The Credit Facilities obtained by the Company from BMRI will be used for the investment needs of the Company and its subsidiaries," Yuni explained on the information disclosure page of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted on Tuesday, January 3.

For information, recently the issuer owned by Puan Maharani's husband won the 2022 oil and gas work area (WK Migas) auction in Central Jabung. The total investment commitment for the first three years of exploration from WK Jabung Tengah amounted to 16.5 million US dollars with a signature bonus of 150,000 US dollars.

This definite commitment includes the activities of three G&G studies, the acquisition of 500 km 2D of seismic and processing, and two exploration wells. Central Jabung WK itself has operational areas in the form of land and oceans, located in Riau, Jambi and Riau Islands Provinces. The area reaches 8,728.34 km2.

Meanwhile, the potential for oil and gas resources in WK Jabung Tengah is estimated at 200 million oil barrels (MMboe).
