The Financial Services Authority (OJK) will strengthen the Investment Alert Task Force both institutionally and infrastructure by planning to open an illegal investment complaint post and illegal online loans (pinjol) at every OJK regional office.
Deputy Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners Mirza Adityaswara said the opening of the complaint post would be carried out in stages.
"OJK plans to open a post for illegal investment complaints and illegal loans," he said at a press conference on the results of the OJK Board of Commissioners' Meeting (RDK) which was held virtually, Monday, January 2.
Mirza said, apart from establishing a complaint post, the OJK will also continue to intensify socialization related to the alert for illegal investment and its handling.

Mirza reported that throughout 2022 the OJK had taken action against 698 illegal online loans, 106 illegal investment entities and 91 illegal pawning entities.

"OJK together with 11 Ministries/Institutions (KL) will continue their collaboration in the investment alert task force coordination forum," explained Mirza.
