JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) through the Industrial Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMI) collaborates with the Industry and Trade Office (Disperindag) and the West Java Provincial Chamber of Commerce. Meanwhile, Head of the BPSDMI Industrial Vocational Education Development Center at the Ministry of Industry, Restu Yuni Widayati, said that the training aims to produce certified workplace trainers to guide students and students of industrial work practices.

According to him, the training of workplace coaches or training for trainers for industry is the BPSDMI program of the Ministry of Industry which aims to make the industry have coaches who are competent to train human resources in the company, including students and internship students.
Thus, interns can obtain knowledge and experience that suits industrial needs.
"This vocational program is expected to increase industrial productivity and reduce re-training costs, so that the industry can expand and absorb more workers," Yuni continued.
The cooperation, which will last for three years, was appreciated by the Head of Industry and Trade of West Java Province, Iendra Sofyan.
According to him, the cooperation is in accordance with West Java's vision, namely Creating West Java a Champion Born in Batin with Innovation and Collaboration.
"To realize this vision, one of them is through activity programs that support the growth of industry in West Java, which requires support, as well as collaboration with stakeholders," added Sofyan.
