Highlight The Plan To Purchase 3 Kg LPG Using MyPertamina, Member Of Commission VII Asks Right Community Reference Data

Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission VII Diah Nurwitasari highlighted the government's policy regarding the purchase of 3 kg LPG gas using the MyPertamina application. Diah regretted that the plan had been widely spread without sufficient study.

This was conveyed by Diah in response to a statement by the Director General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the plan to try out the purchase of 3 kg LPG using the MyPertamina application in mid-December.

Previously in his statement to the media, the Director General of Oil and Gas of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Tutukan Ariadji, said the government plans to encourage the implementation of restrictions on the purchase of 3 kg LPG as appropriate. The government will also integrate data on the Monitoring of the Acceleration of the Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE) with MyPertamina.

"We at Commission VII DPR RI once highlighted this policy and we urge for a study first," he told the media, quoted on Tuesday, December 27.

According to Diah, the 3 kg LPG gas cylinder is a gas fuel that does receive subsidies from the government, so it must be right on target. But according to him, the data used as a reference for who has the right is still being questioned.

"We still question who has the right reference data. Because so far it is still a problem in the community when the data is invalid," he continued.

In addition, he also mentioned the first policy, namely the policy regarding the purchase of pertalite type subsidies that also use the MyPertamina application which makes it difficult for the community.

"We hope that cases will not be repeated like pertalite when using the MyPertamina application," said Diah.

Therefore, he asked the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and also PT Pertamina to review the policy properly and not to cause unrest in the community first. "We hope that both the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and PT Pertamina will tidy up the data first and carry out data validation seriously and then implement this policy," said Diah.
