Another trader, Mamat, said the price of garlic also rose to IDR 30,000 per kilogram.

"Moment like this once a year, yes. If I say the price is IDR 55,000, before COVID this can be IDR 60,000, if before the new year before COVID it can be IDR 70,000 to IDR 75,000. But it sells. Now even though the price is below that, it doesn't sell too well," he continued.
