SURABAYA - Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT Pertamina's Subholding Commercial & Trading (Persero) monitors the automatic fuel ordering system (BBM) to ensure stock at gas stations during the Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays.

Finance Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Arya Suprihadi ensured that all community services could operate optimally, one of which was the Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU).

"The importance of stock at this gas station is to continue to be in a safe condition considering the need for community fuel during the Christmas and New Year holidays will increase," he said in a written statement quoted by Antara, Saturday, December 24.

"So with Auto Replenishment, there is automation starting from monitoring stocks that are integrated with bookings and the process of paying fuel by gas stations. The goal is one, simplification of the fuel ordering process by gas stations which will support stock security to serve the community," said Arya.

Through Auto Replenishment, he continued, it is estimated that fuel needs will continue to be monitored regularly. First, the stock and gas station sales data will be the main information in projecting fuel needs that must be met.

Second, if the stock is at the minimum level, the system will automatically make fuel order data according to the volume needed, then payment is made by gas stations. Third, if it is processed, the system will send a notification to the nearest supply point or Fuel Terminal to schedule the delivery of the required fuel product.

"So in general, there is no change in the scheme, but there is an integration that speeds up the time for the fuel ordering process. The system will be regulated, so there are no more gas stations that order fuel late and hopefully if fuel delivery can be done on time before the minimum stock, the gas station service will also be maximized," said Arya.

Currently, at least 2,632 gas stations have been registered with the Auto Replensment system spread across West Java and DKI Jakarta Regions, Central Java Regions and DI Yogyakarta, East Java Regions, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara, as well as in Papua Regions.

"This is our commitment to continue to innovate to ensure that the community's fuel needs can be met properly. Considering that it is currently during the Christmas and New Year's Task Force, we hope that this Auto Replensment can support Pertamina Siaga's operations and services so that public travel, both Christmas and holidays, can be fulfilled properly," he said.
