JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance reports that tax revenues until December 14, 2022 have reached IDR 1,634.3 trillion.

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that this amount had reached 110 percent of the target set in the 2022 State Budget which was IDR 1,485 trillion in accordance with Presidential Decree 98/2022.

"The realization of this acceptance rose 41.9 percent compared to the same period in 2021," he said when giving an explanation to the media crew on Tuesday, December 20.

The Minister of Finance explained that this tax revenue was supported by four sectors, namely non-oil and gas income tax with a contribution of IDR 900 trillion (120.2 percent of the target), VAT and PPnBM of IDR 629.8 trillion (98.6 percent of the target).

Then, the United Nations and other taxes amounted to Rp29.2 trillion (90.4 percent of the target) and the oil and gas tax of Rp75.4 trillion (Rp116.6 percent of the target).

"The very good tax revenue performance until December 14, 2022 is still influenced by the trend of increasing commodity prices, expansionary economic growth and the implementation of the Law on Harmonization of Tax Regulations (HPP)," he stressed.

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance also said that state spending had touched IDR 2,717.6 trillion. This figure is equivalent to 87.5 percent of the ceiling in the 2022 State Budget which amounted to IDR 3,106.4 trillion.
