Realization Of The State Budget As Of December 14: Capai State Expenditure IDR 2,727.6 Trillion, The Largest For Subsidies To ASN Health Insurance

JAKARTA As of December 14, 2022, the realized amount of state spending has reached IDR 2,717.6 trillion. This figure is equivalent to 87.5 percent of the ceiling in the 2022 State Budget which is IDR 3,106.4 trillion.

According to the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani, the total state expenditure is spread into four large groups. First, spending in ministries/agencies amounting to Rp954.4 trillion.

"This consists of health sectors, social assistance, LPDP scholarships, personnel expenditures (THR and 23rd salary), to the procurement of equipment and machinery," he said through a virtual channel on Tuesday, December 20.

Second, non-ministerial/institutional expenditures amounting to Rp1,013.5 trillion aimed at subsidy distribution, fuel/electric compensation, pension payments, and health insurance for ASN.

"The third is transfers to regions amounting to Rp749.7 trillion or already 93.2 percent of the total budgeted by the state budget. Most types of transfers to regions have increased distribution performance due to better compliance," he said.

Meanwhile, the last one is investment financing of IDR 82 trillion, especially in infrastructure sector investment financing, especially in the completion of national strategic projects and housing financing.

"Through state spending and investment financing, the state budget as a shock absorber protects the community, supports priority sectors, and encourages economic recovery," said Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
