JAKARTA - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) has prepared a screening post or inspection at a number of points leading to the port. This step is to manage traffic to ensure that ferry service users arriving at the port already have a ticket. "ASDP will apply passenger screening by providing stickers at a number of points. This aims so that vehicles that are indeed eligible (withstanding tickets and arriving according to service hours) can be directed to ports," said Corporate Secretary of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Shelvy Arifin, in an official statement written Thursday, December 15. Shelvy said, this screening post will be implemented at a number of points leading to the Port, namely Merak will be at the Tangerang Merak Toll Road Rest Area KM 43 and KM 68, Merak Toll Exit, Cikuasa Atas, Cikasa Bawah, and Pos Gerem. Meanwhile, in Ketapang, it is located at the Sritanjung Bus Terminal, and in Gilimanuk it will be at the Cekik cargo terminal. "At every screening post located in the rest area of the toll road and arteries, ASDP prepares officers who will check and ensure prospective passengers have purchased tickets via Ferizy. Once confirmed by the eligible officers, service users can be directed to the port," said Shelvy. Shelvy, the move is also ASDP's effort in preparing Christmas and New Year services as much as possible. Moreover, ASDP tapered to serve up to 2.68 million people and 688 thousand vehicles on 10 trajectories in 12 branches monitored nationally. Therefore, continued Shelvy, ASDP will provide excellent service both at ports and during crossings, so that the journey becomes smooth, safe, comfortable, and secure. Shelvy said that the flow from Java to Sumatra is predicted to start flooding this weekend following the start of the school holiday. "ASDP asks all service providers in Sumatra, Java and Bali, to have started preparing for trips by ferry ship long ago, so that they can minimize experiencing queues when the peak of the flow departs or goes home," he said. The Shelvy Online Ticket Purchase Campaign said ASDP had massively carried out campaigns and publications to people who would use crossing modes to purchase tickets from now independently through the website www.ferizy.com, Ferizy application, and Ferizy sales channel, namely Alfamart, Indomaret, Agent BRILink, and Agent Finpay (Delima Point).

"Management has also added to the sales channel Ferizy as many as 150 thousand outlets, so that the total at Christmas 2022 and New Year's 2023 will be 650 thousand outlets with 100 more payment channels," he said. Service users, said Shelvy, who have purchased tickets to set the time on day H so it is not too late and check in the previous two hours. Tickets will be expired if they pass the port entry schedule. If they arrive at the port without a ticket, the vehicle will be turned back out of port. "Don't forget when buying tickets online, make sure Jasa users fill out the passenger list in the vehicle properly and completely, including vehicle data.
