CIANJUR Not only accelerating the recovery of electricity supply, but PT PLN (Persero) through the Association of Employee and Employee Wife (PIKK) and the Baitul Maal Foundation (YBM) presents trauma healing through interactive fairy tale to children who survived the earthquake in Cianjur Regency, West Java.

The chairman of PLN's PIKK, Dny Darmawan Prasodjo, hopes that the assistance provided by the PIKK can benefit people affected by the earthquake in Cianjur, especially in Cibereum Village.

The activity entitled PIKK Cares for Earthquakes Cianjur: Sharing Happy, Care for Others is also a moment of providing assistance in the form of 100 food packages, as well as 100 mattresses and blankets so that children can still feel comfortable at night when resting.

On this occasion, PIKK together with YBM PLN provided food packages, postal needs and trauma healing to survivors who were evacuating in Cibereum Hamlet, Cianjur Regency.

"Hopefully this assistance can be useful for people affected by the earthquake in Cianjur," he said.

The concern of the PLN extended family is also considering the number of buildings that collapsed due to the 5.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred on November 21, 2022. Fortunately, access to the sub-district via Jalan Raya Cipanas-Puncak is now increasingly recovering and accessible.

"Currently, conditions are still on standby because a day ago there was a follow-up earthquake, therefore this assistance is very meaningful for our children here," said the Head of Cibereum Hamlet, Mr. Asep Nahdoh.

An interactive fairy tale activity with children is also shown to entertain and invite survivors to remain happy in a completely limited situation.

Aldebaran, a 1st grade elementary school student who is one of the children who was forced to live in a refugee camp with other residents in Cibereum Hamlet, was entertained by the social actions of PIKK and YBM PLN.

"It feels good to be able to sing together, get a new school bag and hear the story from Mang Idhon," he said.

Previously, PLN Peduli and YBM PLN had also distributed assistance to residents affected by the earthquake in Cianjur, namely in the form of 25,630 food packages, 200 tent supplies, 250 packages of diapers and baby food, 600 clothes, 190 hygiene kits, 14 generators, 9,980 food packages through food trucks.

YBM PLN also presents 12 medical personnel who provide health services for more than 2,400 residents holding trauma healing for more than 160 children.
